TUCKERTON - Jesse Demolli is trying to recreate the Jersey Shore's different envirement areas along the walls of the Tuckerton Seaport. "It's a great project" Demolli said. "This area has so many different types of envirements". The mural starts as the Pine Barrens, then runs into the bay area, then goes into the ocean envirement. After the painting is completed, Demolli will place stuffed animals on the stage in front of the different areas of the shore to show what kinds of wildlife are located in the various habitats.

Pigmy Pines, Tuckerton Seaport
Barnegat resident Jesse Demolli considers himself a people person, which is why he enjoys painting murals that reflect the lives and culture of the people who view his work.
The painter's latest mural at the Tuckerton Seaport shows the contrasting landscapes of the Pinelands region.
The exhibit, located in the lower level of the Tuckerton Yacht Club, is expected to be open to the public by next week.
"Murals need to illustrate how people live and where people live..

The mural is a colorful depiction of historic Tuckerton and represents a day in the life of a baymen family in July 1948. The mural will also be a scavenger hunt for toddlers and youth.
